On December 14, 1889 "Stewart Cook fell in the River by the potteries and drown. When looking for the body they used dynamite in the water to try and rise the body with no luck at all" ~ Ellen Crawford

*According to the 1880 census Stewart was 9 which would make him 18 at the time of his death.


On January 27, 1879 Pat Dunn shot Elisha Whipple

*Mr. Whipple was 35 in the 1870 Census and resided in Northampton Twp


March 2, 1916 Ellen Crawford was hit on Second and Broad by the Akron Bedford, & Cleveland (ABC) Trolley
