Broad Boulevard Strip

When Henry Newberry laid out Broad Street in 1814, he made possible a scenic and beauty strip right through the heart of the town and city administrators carried on the spirit when continuing Broad Boulevard from Seventh Street to the State Road in 1927 and public spirited Fallsites have continually made it a place of beauty the whole way from Newberry Street to State Road. In early times when Broad Street was a dirt road as in 1812 a centennial carnival occupied the wide open area. Today, the parkway between the divided highway is a scene of beauty and  dedication.
